The ''Bardo'' in spiritual teachings is:: "The place in between"" death and rebirth, were the human soul can wonder aimlessly. Or with guidance the individual can achieve enlightenment and or rebirth.
in the ''BARDO'' the human sole faces its own symbolic shadow self , in this confrontation, the individual can achieve liberation through embracing the confrontations and understanding they are aspect of ones own shadow self,
in this embrace.

Mitchell is graced with the gift of being able to see into the ''BARDO'',
and he shares these visions with us trough his art.
A visual insight into the ''BARDO'' is a great pre curser for us all, as we navigate the shadow of our own selves to achieve a greater understand of our human condition, and move towards the light.
